Will not take bail against Punjabi Mother Tongue Cases War with Govt.

We all know that Punjabi is the mother tongue of Punjab. To save Punjabi language, around 142 people gathered and applied black colour coated cloth on Hindi and English words which were written on Information Boards on Bathinda, Amritsar. Case has been registered against these people in charge to try to harm Public Property and these people have denied to take bail in case against Punjabi Mother Tongue War with Govt.

Members of this committee said that they are ready to go to jail to in this case. As per Punjab Police these people damaged and defaced this Public Property so same case has been registered against all these people. Lakha Sidhana said that if it is crime to fight for Mother Tongue so they are ready to get into jail, they will not apply for bail. Baba Hardip Singh also said same statement as given by Lakha Sidhana, Baba Hardip Singh also said that Govt can take any kind of action against them but they will fight for the same.

They also said that Central Government always try to muffle voice of Punjabis. Lakha Sidhana said that they have not destroyed any of the Public Property as they have only wiped out on things. Government is trying to coverup itself because as per laws which were passed in year 2008 Mother Tongue Language of that particular State should be written on the top.

Harwinder Singh Khalsa, if a State Level Language is Punjabi then it should be on first number, national level language i.e Hindi should be on second number and International language i.e English should be on third number. Transport Department has ordered to change all these Information Boards till 10th Nov, 2017. All passing procedure has been done successfully and till 10th Nov, 2017 all boards will be changed in which Punjjabi language will be on top.

Lakha Sidhana said that if till 10th Nov, 2017 all of these boards will not be changed then they will protest in all over Punjab and will apply black color on Information Boards either on roads, railway stations or on bus stand.
