Burns Bog fire 50% contained

Fire burning just outside Vancouver , has been contained by fifty percent. Fire is believed to be spread in seventy hectares, leading to evacuation of some businesses and closing of highways, but fire fighters say there has been significant progress through out the day.

About eighty fire fighters attacking fire from air and ground said, their main focus is to save twenty to twenty five businesses evacuated yesterday. Delta fight fighter chief told that fifty percent of the fire has been controlled and they have upper hand now, and few of the businesses closed were opened today , back to their business.

Few of the challenges being faced are wind , which is helping fire to get more aggressive but if the weather conditions they will be able to fully extinguish in a week.
