Dharna by congress mla’a outside Badal’s house continue

Congress party mla’s who sat on dharna outside chief minister Badal’s residence , continues with the same , even after Parkash singh Badal himself came out to meet them and assured them of strict action against the accused police officer.

Ravneet singh Bittu Mla from Ludhiana alleged that Badal is least worried about them and came to see them sitting outside his house, only when he go for morning or evening walk. He said CM is not worried about even Punjab.

Congress people alleged that Akali leaders are acting as a goons and want to win elections and rule the state using muscle power.

Another leader Channi who is leading opposition in the house said , they will not leave the place on the fake assurances by chief minister, they want action against those responsible for starting trouble and those police officers who acted with clear one sided intentions. He said it is upto chief minister to shoot them or forcibly remove them from the place, but they will not leave own their own.

Trouble started when Youth congress people tried to burn effigy of ‘chitta rawan’ , representing drugs in the state. They were stopped by youth akali members and fight broke out in the two groups. Congress leaders alleged that they were beaten by Akali goons , lead by Akali leader Aulakh and later police registered case against congress leaders only.

They also demanded suspension of SSP , because they alleged , not a single case was registered was any Akali leader. Dharana was the solution decided by congress people , who sat outside resident of Parkash singh Badal chief minister of PUnjab.

Badal tried to pacify the congress leaders and called upon DGP on the spot via mobile phone and ordered him to look into the incident and give him report within 3 days, but congress people were not satisfied by this action of the Badal and decided to carry on with dharna.
