First match first win by India against New Zealand

First match first win by India against New Zealand at Dharmshala. This is going to be three match series , and after winning first match India has got good winning start.

India won the toss and captain Dhooni decided to ball first. This proved a good decision and all the New zealand players were bold out at a very reasonable score of 190 only. Indian bowlers helped Dhooni to prove his batting on second term , the right decision.

New Zealand’s top order batsman were not able to set on crease , specially under a very good attack of Indian bowlers. In just 19 overs almost whole of the top order was vanished. Score in 19th over was just 65 runs and they had lost all seven main top order batsman.

Last order tried their best to fight till 44th over ,where whole team fell down completely at a very easy target score of 190.

Indian team’s star batsman Virat Kohali scored highest runs 80 and also got the golden chance to hit winning sixer.

Hardik Pandya was declared man of the match for taking 3 wickets by giving only 31 runs and that too in seven overs.

Virat kohli created new record of scoring half centuries 32 times in one day out of 70 innings played. Only sachin tendulkar is ahead of Kohli by scoring half century in 34 innings specially when chasing the opposite team.

Next match between the two teams will be played at Delhi on 20th of October 2016.
