Hunger strike by Rajoana for quick decision by President

Rajoana’s Hunger strike ends with Rajoana accepting request of new SGPC president Kirpal singh Budungar. Final decision on death plenty of Rajoana is pending president. Rajoana was demanding quick decision on his death plenty. He was sentenced to death by all the courts in the former chief minister sardar Beant singh’s case.

Hunger strike which was started on 3rd of this month, was going on for the last 7 days and on eighth day Rajoana’s condition deteriorated and he was admitted in local Rajindra hospital. Sardar Kirpal singh Badungar told the media person that he met him last night at around 11pm and appealed him to end his hunger strike, which Rajoana accepted. Badungar said, SGPC will approach President and will appeal him to give his decision at the earliest.

Badungar alsp praised Rajoana saying , he never asked for mercy for himself, he just want quick decision because it is already to late. He thanked Rajoana for accepting his request and aslo offered him glass of juice. He said he talked about present situation of Punjab and also from the religious point of view it’s not good to give up life by killing oneself.
