Saras Mela at Bathinda from today

Yearly event of Saras mela will begin from today at Bathinda. Sheena Aggarwal , who is additional deputy commissioner of Bathinda told the reporters that all the arrangements have been made for the successful organisation of Saras Mela.

Sheena Aggarwal told that artisans from 25 different states will participate this year and will exhibit their crafts. It is expected to have around hundred stalls this time. Model town phase 3 is the venue for this Mela, and will continue till 24th of october this month.

S. Sikander singh Maluka will inaugurate the Saras Mela at 5 in the evening. Stalls will be open from 9 am in the morning to 9 pm in the evening. Visitors may enjoy the products and crafts displayed by the craftsman and may buy them as per their choice.

This exhibition is organised to promote artisans and craftsman and is organised in different cities all over India. This time it is the turn of Bathinda, so Sheena Aggarwal invited all to come and see this mela and enjoy with the unique exhibitions. Saras Mela basically exhibit products of rural artists , who are bonded with their respective cultural products.
